Our Story

Neither of us planned to take part in Tri-Town Theatre’s production of All Together Now back in 2021, but we’re both so thankful things didn’t go the way we expected

Sarah: I had recently moved back home after working at SUNY Brockport, returning due to COVID. I reconnected with Tri-Town, joined the board of directors, and was happy being involved behind the scenes rather than on stage for once. I had planned to simply attend ATN as an audience member, but in the middle of the process, I ended up joining the cast.

Wilson: I had returned to the area after traveling the country working on various political campaigns. I had been involved in theater in Oneonta, but my dad, George, introduced me to Tri-Town Theatre. My dad asked me to come along and help out, and I soon found myself as the stage manager for ATN.

Fast forward to production week: both of us were focused on our roles and doing our part to help present a great show. But during that week, I (Sarah) couldn’t help but notice Wilson. I was too nervous to strike up a conversation, but thankfully, our friend Mikaela was ready to play matchmaker. With a little help from Mikaela, we exchanged numbers and started talking. A few weeks later, we had our first date - making pizza and watching Disney Channel Original movies. From that point on, we both knew we wanted to see where this could go. On December 4, 2021, we officially started dating!
Since then, our love has only grown deeper. Theater has been a huge part of our relationship - we’ve worked on 11 Tri-Town Theatre shows together and have seen 14 shows (on and off Broadway) in New York City!

Outside of theater, we love spending quality time together, whether it’s building LEGO sets, relaxing by the lake, cooking dinner, or being with family, especially Sophia and Jameson!

We’re so excited to start this next chapter, and we’re truly grateful you can be part of our special day! Your love, support, and friendship have meant so much to us as we’ve built our life together. It means the world to have our favorite people by our side as we begin this new adventure — thank you for celebrating with us!
